Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man and vice-chairmen Nam Sung U and Pae Ik Ju of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), chairpersons of Chongryon headquarters in Kanto area, leading officials of Chongryon organizations and businesses and other Korean residents in Japan.

At the meeting Ho Jong Man said that the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent 213.74 million yen worth of educational aid fund and stipends ahead of the 106th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Ho made a report.

The reporter noted that officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan were celebrating the 106th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung with meetings, seminars and colorful cultural and sports events in different parts of Japan.

He recalled the fact that the President presented the pleasure of national liberation to the Koreans in Japan, who were taken to Japan to go through exploitation and suppression, and took warm care of them as dignified overseas compatriots of new democratic Korea.

He went on:

The Koreans in Japan can never forget the love and favors bestowed by Kim Il Sung who had shown warm care for Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

The exploits performed by the President in leading Chongryon were carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il. And they are shining more brilliantly in the new century of Juche under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.

As long as there is Kim Jong Un, the eternal prosperity of socialist Korea is sure and the victory of Chongryon is definite along with the final victory of the cause of Juche.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.
