Personages and members of various political parties and organizations of Belarus attended the seminar, at which a report and speeches were made.

Vasili Delikov, chairman of the Belarus Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, said in a report that the august name of President Kim Il Sung is shining forever in history as the founder of the Juche idea, a national hero who liberated the Korean people from the Japanese imperialists' colonial yoke, the founder of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean People's Army and the founding father of socialist Korea who built the people's democratic state, the first of its kind in the East.

He went on:

The President devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause.

Under his leadership the DPRK turned into a socialist country, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The Korean people entrusted their destinies and future to the President, highly praising him as the tender-hearted father of the nation and the great leader.

Though he passed away, he is always alive in the hearts of mankind as the peerlessly great man for his exploits.

L. Shebeleva, vice-chairperson of the National Committee of the "Motherland," a patriotic social organization, said that Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea and consistently applied it to lead the Korean revolution only to victory and glory.

The vice-chairperson noted that thanks to Kim Il Sung the new era of history, the era of independence, was ushered in.

The Juche idea is the revolutionary idea centered on man and serves as the immortal banner showing the road ahead of the popular masses struggling for independence, the vice-chairperson added.

G. Simanobski, secretary of the Coordinating Council of the Left Patriotic Forces Unity, and Oleg Novikov, chairman of the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics Named after February 16, praised the exploits of Kim Il Sung who defeated the two U.S. and Japanese imperialisms, in one generation, built the DPRK into a socialist bulwark of Juche and made a great contribution to the cause of global independence.

A congratulatory message to the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
