With photos of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un conducting revolutionary activities, the magazine carried news that he visited the State Academy of Sciences, the newly remodeled Pyongyang Teacher Training College and the Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory and the news that he made a congratulatory speech at the military parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Korean People's Army and met the members of the DPRK high-level delegation who visited the south side to take part in the opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics and that he visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to pay homage to leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.

It also carried the letter sent by Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho to the UN secretary general to denounce the U.S. for ratcheting up the military threats to the DPRK and the answer given by an information room chief of the Institute for American Studies of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK to questions raised by KCNA, a commentary of the National Reunification Institute "The south Korean authorities should not misunderstand" and other articles clarifying the principled stand of the DPRK to strongly counter the moves to check the improvement of the north-south ties and the peace on the Korean peninsula.

Also carried in the magazine are a commentary of the information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the results of the north-south high-level talks and accounts of the press conference called by officials of the Russian Foreign Ministry with TASS and Interfax journalists over the U.S. sanctions on the DPRK.
