The servicepersons and people of the DPRK are determined to turn out as one in the grand advance of economic construction in high spirits with pride and self-confidence of victors, conviction and optimism about hopeful future.

Kim Yong Nam, vice-minister of Coal Industry, told KCNA that the April 2018 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea is a great event to be recorded forever in the history of the WPK and the DPRK.

The victory of the WPK's line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force would be unthinkable without the "do-or-die" forced march and wise leadership of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Supreme Leader set forth the militant slogan "Let us further accelerate the advance of our revolution by concentrating all our efforts on socialist economic construction!" at the plenary meeting.

Our goal is vast, but we will certainly carry out the goal for producing coal set forth at the five-year strategy for national economic development with the conviction that we are sure to win when we advance along the road indicated by the Supreme Leader.

To Jong Chol, vice-president of the State Academy of Sciences, said:

Keeping in mind the Supreme Leader's instructions that the spirit of self-reliance and science and technology are the powerful driving force of socialist economic construction, we will put spurs to the grand march of science and technology to activate the overall national economy and put it on an upward spiral track as required by the new strategic line set forth at the historic April plenary meeting.

Pyon Kyu Sun, president of Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, said:

The second agenda adopted in the plenary meeting serves as important guidelines in indicating the orientation of developing the Juche education and in clarifying the position of our educators again.

We will create and complete Korean-style educational method as required by a higher stage of the developing revolution and thus fulfill the mission as a pedigree establishment for the education of the rising generation.
