Mock Trial of S. Korean Army for Massacre of Civilians during Vietnam War Held

Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- 50 civic and public organizations of south Korea including the Bar Association for Democratic Society held a civilian court for peace in Seoul on April 21 and 22 to have a mock trial of the south Korean army which committed massacre of civilians in the Vietnam War, according to CBS of south Korea.

The court charged that the massacre of hundreds of civilians at two small villages was a deliberate murder committed by the south Korean army.

It ruled that the "government" should make an official apology for the army's massacre of civilians, thoroughly investigate into the truth about the case and compensate the victims.
