Speeches followed a report made by Kim Chang Yop, chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, at the meeting.

The reporter and speakers called upon all members of the union and agricultural workers to beat the drum of great victory in the campaign for increasing the grain production this year, the third one for implementing the five-year strategy for national economic development, true to the Party's plan for building an economic power.

They appealed to all organizations of the union and agricultural workers across the country to launch a dynamic socialist emulation, expressing their determination to fulfill their duty as agricultural workers in carrying out the decisions of the Third Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
