Its publication laid a groundwork for realizing detente, reconciliation, cooperation and exchange between the north and the south of Korea.

The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's New Year Address for this year also reflects the spirit of the 10-point programme.

Positive changes are now being made in the inter-Korean relations thanks to the energetic guidance of Kim Jong Un carrying forward the preceding leaders' idea and cause of national reunification.
