Rodong Sinmun Slams Japanese Authorities' Reckless Tongue-lashing

Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries, who were driven to a serious political crisis and irritated by their plight of being pushed aside from the diplomatic current around the Korean peninsula, are going mischievous. The authorities of the island country including Abe and the ministers of Finance, Defense and Foreign Affairs are noisily talking about "complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement of the DPRK's nukes, WMDs and missiles." They cry out for "maintaining such stance as putting maximum pressure on the DPRK to make it abandon its nukes and missiles." During his recent junket to the U.S., Abe asked his American master to tighten sanctions to pressurize the DPRK, raising the nuclear issue and even the issue of "abduction." Commenting on the facts, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says: Such moves of the Japanese reactionaries only reveal their ill-intention to do harm to the DPRK by persisting in the racket of sanctions and pressure on it. Such awful behavior is just a hysteric fit caused by their plight of being left alone away from the current trend of the times. It is also a manifestation of their extreme uneasiness that their wild ambition for building a military giant and carrying out overseas expansion is going belly-up. Japan had better properly calculate what behavior is wise in the present changed world and behave prudently. It should bear in mind that its persistent mischievous acts will only build a higher barrier on the road to Pyongyang, isolated and rejected by the world. |
