Rodong Sinmun Censures Abe Group for Getting Keen on Realizing Militarism and Overseas Expansion
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Japanese chief executive made offering to Yasukuni Shrine and Japanese dietmen numbering 150 paid a group visit to it on the occasion of the spring ancestral rite day.

The chief executive during his presence at the meeting of a local organization of the Liberal Democratic Party called for mutual cooperation for the retrogressive revision of the constitution, pledging to "specify the existence of the Self-Defense Forces in the constitution and put an end to the controversy over the constitution".

A commentary of Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this proves that the Abe group is keen on realizing militarism and the ambition for overseas expansion.

The Japanese politicians' visit to the shrine is not just an issue pertaining to the internal issue of Japan, but it is an issue related to Japan's viewpoint of aggression and colonial domination committed by it against Asian countries in the past, the commentary says, and goes on:

The group visit and tribute paid to the shrine by the Japanese dietmen are a total denial of Japan's past crimes and it constitutes an insult and mockery of Asian countries.

Japan has now almost taken up its appearance as a militarist state.

Only stumbling block lying in the way is the present constitution. The Japanese chief executive tries to rewrite the present constitution at any cost and specify the existence of the "Self-Defense Forces" as attack forces there and thus remove the legal stumbling block lying in its way of launching reinvasion. Japan's dream is to turn the country into the one capable of fighting a war and thus realize the old dream of the "Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere".

The scope of military operation of the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" has been expanded to even the Indian Ocean, to say nothing of the Pacific. Japan is now seeking to launch reinvasion with the backing of the U.S.

This is a reckless act of digging its own grave.
