Presented to the seminar were papers explaining and proving the exploits of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who brought about the great victory of the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts and is opening up an epochal turn for the prosperity of the country and the issues arising in attaining the higher goals for socialist construction set forth at the plenary meeting.

The speakers explained that the Supreme Leader clarified the line on simultaneous development of economic construction and the building of nuclear force at the March 2013 Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee and led the army and people of the whole country in their struggle with his patriotic devotion and efforts and energetic leadership day and night.

The main idea of the new strategic line set forth by the Third plenary meeting of the Seventh C.C., WPK is to prioritize the economic affairs in the overall work of the party and the state, tap all human, material and technical potentials for the economic development and thus build robust socialist economy and drastically improve the standard of the people's living, they said.

Making a fresh drastic turn in the scientific work, as required by the times and the developing revolution, is the shortcut to paving a broad avenue to economic construction and a substantial guarantee for ceaselessly promoting self-reliance, they stressed, and went on:

To bring about a great revolution in education is a sure guarantee for realizing the party's plan on building a talent power.

They pledged to discharge the responsibility and duty in accelerating the grand advance of economic construction and hastening the building of a scientific and technological power and an education power in the spirit of self-reliance true to the new strategic line set forth at the Third Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the WPK under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Present there were teachers, researchers, lecturers, journalists, editors and officials in the fields of science, education, preservation of revolutionary relics, media, preservation of national heritage and party cadre training institutions including Ri Hye Jong, president of the Academy of Social Sciences.
