Korean Book, Photo, Fine Art Exhibitions Held Abroad

Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- There took place Korean book, photo and fine art exhibitions in Russia, South Africa and Venezuela to observe the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. On display at their venues of the events were photos showing the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Also displayed were works of the peerlessly great men, books and photos introducing Juche Korea making a leap forward on a daily basis, and the fine art pieces showing creativity of the Korean people. Personages and masses in those countries went round the exhibitions. The chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK said that he was deeply moved to see the Korean people remaining true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un during his several visits to the DPRK. The Russia-DPRK friendly relationship is very precious and the Russian people will always support the struggle of the Korean people, he noted. The secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party said that under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un the DPRK is demonstrating its might as an invincible socialist fortress, resolutely foiling the hideous sanctions by the U.S. to stifle it. The director for foreign affairs of the Ministry of Culture of Venezuela said that he was pleased to see the Korean exhibition open, adding it would help Venezuelan people know better about the DPRK which is dashing toward the future always with pride and confidence. |
