Attending the meeting were Kim Yong Jae, minister of External Economic Relations, and officials concerned, and members of the Syrian government economic delegation led by Mamoun Hamdan, minister of Finance.

The meeting reviewed the implementation of the protocol signed at the 9th meeting of the DPRK-Syria Joint Economic Committee and discussed ways for expanding economic, scientific and technological cooperation. Concluded at the meeting were letters of understanding on cooperation in several fields and execution plans.

A protocol of the 10th meeting of the DPRK-Syria Joint Economic Committee was signed there.
