The statement said the said plenary meeting declared the great victory of the line of simultaneously promoting the two fronts and adopted crucial decisions to ensure the victorious advance of socialist construction under the prevailing situation and that these decisions proved the peace-loving stand of the WPK. It went on:

The plenary meeting set forth a new strategic line of concentrating all efforts on socialist economic construction, which is the historical line ensuring that the people of the DPRK further accelerate socialist construction under the leadership of the WPK.

The statement extended firm support to the Korean people's struggle for implementing the new strategic line.
