The festival on the theme of "To highlight specific features of local areas in architectural creation by use of locally available building materials" is to be divided into architecture designing exhibition, construction gears and tools exhibition, and designing information exhibition.

The festival will see the city and town (district) planning layout for sports and leisure parks, the green architectural layout, architectural layout for hall of culture in town, city, county and ri, the exterior and interior layout for hotel, etc. that won at provincial (municipal) festivals.

The festival will showcase more than 400 architecture designs, 40-odd kinds of construction gears and tools, above 30 IT-based design programs.

An opening ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on Monday.

Attending it were Vice-Premier Tong Jong Ho, officials, architects, technicians, teachers and researchers in the fields of architectural design, construction, building materials, supervision, scientific research and education.
