The Congolese paper La Patriot and the internet homepage of the Agence Congolaise d'Information reported in detail in articles tilted "On the occasion of the 106th birth anniversary of the great leader President Kim Il Sung" and "Africa does not forget" the exploits of the President who devoted his all to the sacred cause for the freedom and happiness of the people and the fact that he never allowed any special privilege and favor in the whole period of his career.

The Guinean paper Horoya edited a photo-illustrated article titled "Great man and famous flower," saying that Kimilsungia came into being, it won gold and top prizes at international flower expos and shows and flowers praising the sun are in full bloom across the world.

A Guinean state TV broadcasting repeatedly dealt with Korean film "Kimilsungia, the Flower of the Sun".
