The world peace-loving forces warmly congratulate the north-south summit of Korea held at Panmunjom, the statement said, and went on:

The top leaders of the north and the south clarified that there would be no longer war on the Korean peninsula and a new era of peace has opened.

Through this, it has become clearer that peace, co-prosperity and reunification are just the desire of the Korean people.

The WPC has expressed support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for realizing reunification of the country free from interference of foreign forces.
