The festival was held, divided into 29 panels including power, metal, chemistry, machinery, coal, construction, IT and bio-engineering, in the form of exhibition and presentation of sci-tech achievements, exchange of new technologies and sale of new products.

On display at the festival were a number of achievements highly appreciated at sci-tech festivals of commissions, ministries, national institutions and provinces (municipalities).

What drew visitors' attention were those presented by the State Academy of Sciences, like independent wind- and solar-power supply system, rooftop greenhouse for soilless cultivation based on production cycle, PMMA intra ocular lens production equipment and technology of producing foamed-lag with tuff cement.

Visitors also took interests in force pump for concrete mixture presented by the Rakwon Machine Complex, power- and labor-saving shoemaking machines by the Pothonggang Footwear Factory, banister made with pumice by 216 Division and multi-functional smart power-trowel for floor plastering by the Junggu Public Building Construction Company.

Among the exhibits were the technology of designing and manufacturing S-shaped turbine displayed by the Kapsan County Science and Technology Commission of Ryanggang Province, vertical biaxial wind-powered generator by the Sunchon Chemical Complex and IT technology for positioning line fault through wireless network by the Rason City Power Distribution Station.
