Panmunjom witnessed the historic north-south summit on April 27, 2018, which attracted the attention of all the fellow countrymen who have longed so impatiently for the national reunification and of the whole world, the statement said.

The exciting fact that the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un crossed freely the dividing line between the north and the south at Panmunjom with President Mun Jae In hand in hand will go down in the history of national reunification, the statement noted.

It praised the historic summit and the adoption of the declaration as the national historic great event to inform the people of the start of new history of national reconciliation and peace and the new era and co-prosperity and reunification.
