Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- Meetings and seminars took place in Cuba, Myanmar, Pakistan, India, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Mexico, Venezuela and Ecuador between April 9 and 16 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun. The chief editor of the organ of the League for National Democracy of Myanmar said that Kim Il Sung extended unsparing support and encouragement to the struggle of the progressive people aspiring after the anti-imperialist independence with his noble international obligation. The general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK said that Kim Il Sung who devoted all his life to the country and its people was always be alive in the hearts of the Korean people and the progressive mankind. The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea praised the President as an extraordinary revolutionary who devoted his all to the struggle for building an equitable society without all sorts of exploitation and pressure. The general coordinator of the Federal Political Secretariat of the United Left Party of Venezuela said it was one of Kim Il Sung's exploits that he found the Juche idea and led the cause of human independence to victory, noting that today's socialist Korea would be unthinkable without him. The chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the President's revolutionary career was a life of an outstanding politician and the great leader who held high the banner of independence and led the Korean revolution and the world revolution to victory. He also said that the President would always be alive in the hearts of all people as the image of the sun and his exploits shine forever as noble heritages of humankind. Congratulatory messages to the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were adopted at events held in Pakistan, Austria and Nigeria. |
