The orphanage developed the intellectual education program "Haebaragi (sunflower)", which is diverse in content, convenient for use and appropriate to juvenile psychological features, and introduced it into education of its children.

The program is an integral whole for education and management, inclusive of the system of nursing and educating kindergarteners, systems of talent management and health control, homepage "Uri Jarang (our pride)" and system of sharing experience.

It proves highly effective in developing children's observation, memory, imagination and comparative ability, as witnessed by the fact that those of Pyongyang Orphanage won the national intelligence contest of children from orphanages held last year.

Now, it gains momentum to introduce the program into preschool education on a nationwide scale.
