Kim Il Sung Praised by Foreign Media
Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- Foreign media carried special write-ups illustrated with portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and his photos to mark his birth anniversary.

The newspaper of DR Congo La Prosperite said in an article titled "Noble obligation of President Kim Il Sung" that he was a noble man with genuine human love and obligation before being a state leader and a politician.

The organ of the Uganda National Resistance Movement Public Lens, the Ethiopian newspaper Fortune, the Angolan newspaper U Pais, the Nigerian newspaper Nigerian Observer, the Tanzanian newspaper Uhuru and the Egyptian newspaper Al Akhbar Almassay in articles under such titles as "Kim Il Sung, the great man in the 20th century", "Beaming smile of President Kim Il Sung" and "President Kim Il Sung's great revolutionary career" introduced in detail what prominent personages of various countries have said in praise of the undying feats and greatness of the President, a pioneer and pacemaker of the era of independence who founded the Juche idea to show the road ahead of humankind and an outstanding veteran statesman in the world who steered the human cause of independence all his life under the banner of anti-imperialist independence. They stressed that he is always alive in the mind of humankind as the sun is eternal.

The Zambian newspaper Brandline News and the Zimbabwean newspaper The Herald cited detailed facts to tell that the President had rendered material and moral assistance to the national liberation struggle and the building of a new society in African countries.
