Congratulations to Malaysian PM

| Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, sent a congratulatory message to Mahathir Bin Mohamad upon his election as prime minister of Malaysia on May 11. The message said that his election as prime minister is a clear token of the Malaysian people's absolute support and deep trust in him. It wished him success in his work for the independent development of the country and the welfare of the people, expressing expectation that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with long history and tradition will develop. |
