Foreign Heads of State Welcome North-South Summit and Talks
Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- Heads of state of different countries welcomed the historic meeting and talks between the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and south Korean President Moon Jae In.

Bolivian President Evo Morales said that he congratulated the meeting of the top leaders of the north and the south of Korea held for putting an end to the decades-long confrontation, adding that the meeting serves as a significant opportunity for ensuring peace of the planet and that the issue on the Korean peninsula can be certainly resolved free from U.S. interference.

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos noted that it is very impressive to see the top leaders of the north and the south of Korea holding their hands, adding the whole world might have been impressed.

Welcoming the top leaders of the north and the south for signing the Panmunjom Declaration, Luis Guillermo Solis, president of Costa Rica, stressed that he positively supports all measures for peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula.

Finnish President Sauli Niinisto stated that the north-south summit talks are very positive, adding that he hopes that such trend would continue.

Brazilian President Michel Temer said he expects that the recent meeting and talks would lead to peace in the region.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen noted that the historic meeting and talks held between the Supreme Leader of the DPRK and the south Korean president serve as a very significant occasion for ensuring permanent peace on the Korean peninsula.

Lao Prime Minister Thong Loun Sisoulith welcomed the historic north-south summit talks that were successfully held, and stressed that the Panmunjom Declaration serves as an important base for ending the war on the Korean peninsula.
