Functions Held in Bangladesh
Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- A seminar, photo exhibition and film show were held in Dacca, Bangladesh on May 9 in celebration of the second anniversary of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

On show at the venue of the functions were photos showing the successes made by the Korean people in the building of a powerful socialist country under his leadership.

The participants in the film show watched the Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation."

Attending the events were personages of various political parties and organizations and citizens.

Mostafa Jamal Haider, secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, and other figures said that HE Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, is considering the love for the people as a starting point of all thinking and activities and the overriding principle and the highest aim of the politics enforced by the WPK, adding that under his leadership the WPK invariably adheres to the principle of independence under the rapidly changing situation and more fully demonstrates its might as an invincible party leading the Korean revolution to victory.

The present exciting events on the Korean Peninsula are a miraculous reality brought about by the outstanding and experienced political caliber of HE Kim Jong Un who has further developed the WPK into an invincible party and firmly advanced the Korean revolution along the road of Juche.

The Korean people dynamically staging the struggle for the building of socialism and the national reunification, closely united around the leader will surely achieve the final victory, they said, and extended firm support and solidarity to the Korean people.

Meanwhile, a meeting took place in Maribor City, Slovenia on April 24 to support the decisions of the Third Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the WPK.
