Panmunjom Declaration Backed by Indian Personages

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Personages of Indian political parties and organizations released a joint statement on April 28 in support of the Panmunjom Declaration. They included Atul Kumar Anjan, secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India and chairman of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, Harising Khang, member of the C.C., Communist Party of India (Marxist), G. Debarajan, secretary of the C.C., All-India Forward Bloc, and Vijay Jolly, senior leader of the Indian People's Party. In the statement they extended warm congratulations to respected HE Kim Jong Un who opened a new chapter for peace and prosperity in the Korean Peninsula. Clarified in the historic Panmunjom Declaration are the ways for putting an end to the decades-long division and confrontation and achieving the reconciliation, reunification and prosperity of the Korean nation, the statement noted, saying: This makes it possible for the Korean nation, divided by foreign forces, to advance along the road of peace and progress by its concerted efforts. The cause of Korea's reunification, the desire of HE Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il, will be surely accomplished. We extend support and solidarity to the struggle of the Korean people for implementing the Panmunjom Declaration provided by the iron will and bold decision of HE Kim Jong Un to defend the peace in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world. |
