The meeting discussed how to carry through the tasks set forth by the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un at the Third Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

At the meeting, a reporter and speakers called upon the UAWK organizations at all levels to conduct effectively the ideological education in various forms and methods so as to encourage the union members to carry out the tasks advanced at the April Plenary Meeting of the C.C., WPK.

They underscored the need to attain the grain production goal set in the five-year strategy for national economic development and increase livestock production.

They called for scrupulously conducting education and the guidance over the organizational life to enhance the qualifications and responsibility of the union teachers of schools in rural areas and for establishing a climate of prioritizing science and education.

Members and alternate members of the UAWK Central Committee and officials of the union participated in the meeting.
