Kim Jong Un Sends Message of Sympathy to Cuban Leaders

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, on May 19 sent a message of sympathy to Raul Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and Miguel Mario Diaz－Canel Bermudez, president of the Council of State and president of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba.

The message said:

Receiving the unhappy news of heavy casualties caused by the passenger plane crash in your country, I express deep sympathy and consolation to you and, through you, to the Cuban party, government and people and the bereaved families of the victims.

I express the belief that the Cuban party, government and people will eradicate the aftermath of the accident as early as possible and provide the stable life for the bereaved families of the victims under your leadership.
