Halt to U.S. War Drills Targeting North Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- People of various strata in south Korea are reportedly waging actions against the anti-DPRK war moves of the U.S. and south Korean authorities.

The Taejon Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, in a news conference outside the Taejon city office on May 18, charged that such air combat drills were launched in less than one month after the adoption of the Panmunjom Declaration due to the Cold-War forces who have no desire for peace.

It demanded that the authorities stop all the war exercises staged with the U.S.
