Discrimination against Women Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- The Kia Motors part-time workers' branch of the Metal Workers Union and the Joint Action to Regain the Status of the Human Rights Committee in south Korea reportedly held a press conference outside the "Human Rights Committee" building on May 16, at which they protested the managements' discrimination against women.

Speakers noted that the management sides have never employed a woman as a full-time worker.

The discrimination against women is rampant is because of the prosecution and authorities' connivance at arbitrary practices by the managements, they charged.

They stressed the need to build a society where each woman is respected as a human being.
