Born as a daughter of a poor peasant family before the national liberation, she experienced the sorrow of being a member of the stateless nation, being maltreated and humiliated under the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists.

It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea that she could lead a genuine life.

She had done a lot of good things for the society and the collective.

She still goes in good health, living optimistically. She keeps herself busy, having balanced diet.
