The letter said:

We strongly condemn the brutal atrocities and indiscriminate act of violence of Israel upon the peaceful Palestinian demonstrators who demanded their legitimate rights.

I would like to hereby recall the Paragraph 289 in Chapter 2 of the Final Document of the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) which underscores the need for efforts to achieve the goal of establishing the legitimate state of the Palestinian people including their inalienable right to self-determination and freedom to build the independent State of Palestine with East Kuds as its capital.

In accordance with the above Final Document I feel the urgent need for the action of the NAM to condemn the bloody suppression and atrocities of Israel and to express support and solidarity with the just cause of the Palestinian people to achieve their inalienable legitimate rights including the building of the independent State of Palestine with East Kuds as its capital.

Availing myself of this opportunity, I would like to reaffirm the principled position of the DPRK to strengthen the close cooperation with all member states of the NAM as well as the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in adhering to the principles and purposes of the NAM and enhancing the role of the Movement.

The letter was distributed to the member states of the NAM.
