DPRK Wrestlers Win Gold Medals

| Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- Women wrestlers of the DPRK Jong Myong Suk and Mun Hyon Gyong came first respectively in the 55kg and 59kg categories of the 33rd World Army Wrestling Championship held in Moscow, Russia held on May 14-20. Pak Un Gwang and Yon Jo Hwa bagged silver medals respectively in the men's 57kg freestyle and women's 57kg categories and Kwon Un Nam a bronze medal in the men's greco-roman 55kg category. The championship brought together more than 270 ace men and women wrestlers from 22 countries and regions including the DPRK, China, Russia, Germany, Hungary and Iran. The DPRK players returned home on Wednesday. |
