Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il sent a letter "On Developing the Movement of Koreans in Japan onto a New, Higher Stage" to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on May 24, Juche 84 (1995) on the occasion of its 40th founding anniversary. The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter "Let Us Usher in a New Golden Age of the Movement of Koreans in Japan, True to the Intention of the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il" to Chongryon on May 25, Juche 104 (2015) on the occasion of its 60th founding anniversary. The works are shining as the most scientific and just working programme for opening up a decisive turn in the movement of Koreans in Japan and firmly ensuring its bright future and as a powerful ideo-theoretical weapon for the patriotic cause of Chongryon, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article. The article goes on: The letter of Kim Jong Il comprehensively dealt with the exploits of President Kim Il Sung in the history of the movement of Koreans in Japan and indicated it as the primary working direction of Chongryon to do its every affair, as intended and desired by the President, and hold aloft the Juche idea as its guiding idea and banner. The letter of Kim Jong Un said that the course covered by Chongryon is a brilliant history of the great leaders' Juche-based idea on the movement of overseas compatriots, their wise guidance and warm loving care shown by them for overseas Koreans with noble patriotism. It also underlined the need for Chongryon to do its every work, as intended and desired by the great leaders. The truth and vitality of the historic works, which comprehensively deal with the main tasks that should be thoroughly implemented in the patriotic activities of Chongryon and the ways to do so, have been clearly proved in practice. Nothing can ever check the dynamic advance of the officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan who have turned out in the campaign to open up a new heyday in the movement of Koreans in Japan with the important letters of the peerlessly great men as an undying banner. |
