The book contains 98 works including speeches, talks, reports and conclusions made by the President from June Juche 26 (1937) to August Juche 34 (1945).

The President in the works clearly analyzed the then international and domestic political situations and the new stage in the development of the Korean revolution and set forth outstanding ideas and theories and Juche-based lines and strategic and tactical policies to lead the sacred cause of national liberation to shining victory.

"On Preparing for the Great Event of National Liberation" and other works, he advanced the strategic policies and lines on preparing for the final decisive battles to defeat the Japanese imperialism on the basis of the feats and experience gained in the course of the anti-Japanese armed struggle as well as the tasks and ways for their materialization.

Some of the works call for positively preparing for the final decisive battles against the Japanese imperialists with firm confidence in victory of revolution and rallying the patriotic forces from all walks of life as one so as to achieve the independence of the country by the Korean nation itself.

There are also works carrying the outstanding ideas and theories and strategic and tactical policies that give exposition of such theoretical and practical matters arising in the revolutionary struggle as the issues of adhering to the principle of guerrilla warfare in organizing and commanding battles and carrying out the work of the Anti-Japanese Youth League of Korea as required by the characteristics of the youth.
