Kang Chol Min, chief of the technical department, told KCNA:

The farm is breeding myriads of baby trepangs after introducing an advanced technology of collecting eggs and raising young trepangs in the sea, not at artificial culture ground.

The farm has bred trepangs in a cage net with the capacity of tens of cubic meters in the coastal waters proper to its growth, which has proved the economic effectiveness higher than artificial culture ground farming and is easy in technical management with low cost.
