Rodong Sinmun on Gap between Rich and Poor
Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article cites data to disclose the daily-increasing gap between the rich and the poor in capitalist countries.

The gap between the rich and the poor is attributable to the exploiter society, says the article, adding:

The rich is getting richer and the poor poorer in capitalist society, which is attributable to the privatization of means of production in the society.

The exploiter society is based on the system of private ownership.

The system of private ownership gives rise to the gap between the rich and the poor in the exploiter society and the gap goes to extreme in capitalist society, in particular.

An overwhelming majority of the means of production is in the hands of a tiny handful of monopoly plutocrats in capitalist society.

The reactionary ruling quarters speak for and defend the interests of the monopoly plutocrats in capitalist society.

The reactionary ruling circles offer the monopoly plutocrats privilege and preference, conniving at and defending their exploitation against humanity, but deprive the working masses of their wealth under all sorts of pretexts. Owing to the unequal and unpopular policy a handful of the privileged circle get richer and the working masses get poorer.

Today bipolarization, the rich getting ever richer and the poor ever poorer, is becoming larger worldwide.

The increasing disparity in wealth between the developed capitalist countries and the developing countries is attributable to the former's neo-colonial exploitation and plunder of the latter.

The rich getting ever richer and the poor ever poorer is just the inevitable product of capitalist society and as long as the capitalist society exists, such phenomenon can never vanish.
