From the outset of the year we have set out epochal proposals for improvement of the north-south relations and detente on the Korean peninsula and have taken proactive steps one after another, as we value the desire of all Koreans for detente on the peninsula without war and for aspiration of humankind to peace.

However, the U.S. absurdly claims that it presents peace to someone, describing our peace-loving efforts as the "result of sanctions and pressure".

The U.S. behavior would work on a weak one, but it will never work on the DPRK which proudly appeared as a world strategic state.

We will never beg for peace from the U.S.
