Retrogressive Revision of Minimum Wage Law Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Organizations in south Korea on May 28 staged an action in protest against the retrogressive revision of the law on minimum wage, according to south Korean News 1.

That day, an amendment to the law on minimum wage completely turning down the demands of the workers was passed through the Legislation and Judiciary Committee of the "National Assembly" and its full-dress session.

Protesting the passage, the Confederation of Trade Unions went on a general strike in 15 parts of south Korea all at once.

In the meantime the Federation of Trade Unions, too, called a news conference to express its will to wage actions for legal judgment of the amendment.
