LPK Denounced in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- Ruling and opposition parties of south Korea reportedly criticized the "Liberal Korea Party" for checking the passage of a bill on supporting the Panmunjom declaration at the "National Assembly." A spokesman of the Party for Democracy and Peace in a commentary on May 28 urged the LPK to refrain from backbiting and help preserve peace on the Korean peninsula. The floor leader of the ruling Minju Party termed the behavior of the LPK an act of disregarding the demand of the people aspiring after peace, adding the LPK should drop the confrontational way of thinking and opt for ensuring peace of the Korean peninsula. |
