According to data available, the iron ore output went up 1.25 times during the last ten days of May, as compared with the same period of last year.

The mine gave precedence to preliminary tunneling in various districts of Sungri Mine-Lot abundant in high-grade ore with good mining conditions to secure over 50 stopes, while steadily increasing the production by improving the productivity of rotary drills and excavators by 1.2 times.

Its Kumsan Mine-Lot also secured more than 10 stopes and has introduced advanced mining methods to overfulfill its daily production plan.
