Their happy life would have been unthinkable without loving care of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who puts forward them as precious treasure and the whole of all hopes and future and provides to them happy life with nothing to envy in the world, true to the loving care shown by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for younger generation.

In May Juche 102 (2013), he visited the camp to set forth the detailed task and ways for excellently remodeling it.

And he gave guidance to its layout, took measures to mobilize soldier builders and able designers, settled all problems arising in its remodeling and sent even latest projection and sound equipment and cultural recreation facilities.

In February and April 2014, he visited the camp to indicate ways for sprucing up the camp at a level required by the Workers' Party of Korea.

After the completion of its remodeling, he personally attended its inaugural ceremony and enjoyed the final match of the national children's football tournament, congratulatory art performance of Moranbong Band and fireworks display together with schoolchildren.

In July 2014, he went to the camp again to go round the newly installed nose-dive waterslide in the outdoor wading pool, mirror house, etc. with great pleasure.

Thanks to his devotion and efforts, the Songdowon International Children's Camp came to be turned into a world-famous one satisfying all the requisites for schoolchildren.
