S. Korea: Authorities Denounced for Withdrawing Statue of Drafted Worker

| Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The Youth Solidarity of south Korea issued a statement on June 1 in denunciation of the authorities' removal of the statue of drafted worker from outside the Japan Consulate General in Pusan, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Sibo. The statement noted that the authorities withdrew the statue by mobilizing more than 1 500 policemen. The authorities have to remember that Japan's past crimes and pro-Japanese acts should be redressed in order to truly pave the way to peace, it stressed. |
