Disbandment of LKP Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- Members of the People's Party of south Korea held a meeting concerning the local autonomous body election outside the "Liberal Korea Party" building and urged the disbandment of the LKP on May 31, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Sibo.

They said the Panmunjom declaration is the surest guarantee for bringing peace to the Korean peninsula.

But the LKP, the worst evil, is standing in the way of implementing it, they noted.

The LKP has to be disbanded in order to implement the Panmunjom Declaration, they stressed.

They vowed to take the lead in removing the LKP from the political circles in order to implement the Panmunjom declaration for the independent reunification, peace and prosperity.
