Capitalist Society Is Most Unpopular and Corrupt One: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Capitalist society is the most unpopular and corrupt one completely contrary to the intrinsic requirements of human beings as it mercilessly infringes upon the freedom and democratic rights of overwhelming majority of the working masses and causes social evils and ideological and moral poverty of every description, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Tuesday.

The reality of capitalist system itself clearly shows how reactionary and unpopular it is, the article says, and goes on:

First of all, the material life is decadent in capitalist society. Such decadent material life prevalent in capitalist countries has been a main factor of deepening social contradictions.

In capitalist society the mental and cultural life of the people is getting all the more intolerable with each passing day. Such poor mental and cultural life can never be prevented in capitalist society based on rabid selfishness and under the reign of mammonism and the jungle law.

The political life is also getting extremely reactionary in capitalist society. Such practice is inevitable since the politics becomes a plaything of the wealthy privileged in capitalist society.

Such capitalism is doomed to come to an end.
