In this regard, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a commentary:

Many foreign media have contended that the explosion of the nuclear test ground showed the will of the DPRK to defuse tension and that the transparent dismantlement of the test ground clearly proved once again the DPRK's peace-loving efforts.

It is the fixed stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government to make a positive contribution to building a world without nuclear weapons in conformity with the shared desire of mankind.

Through the dismantlement of the nuclear test ground, the DPRK clearly demonstrated its will to join in the international aspiration and efforts for a total halt to nuclear test.

Saying that the recent measure of dismantling the northern nuclear test ground was a demonstration of the clear desire and will of the Korean party and government to defuse tension and create a climate of dialogue in the Korean peninsula, representatives of foreign embassies and international bodies in the DPRK hailed and supported the peace-loving stand of the DPRK government to contribute to global nuclear disarmament, peace and security.

The whole process of dismantling the northern nuclear test ground well showed the steadfast stand of the DPRK government to join in the international desire and efforts to build a nuclear-free world.

The DPRK government will make steady efforts to have close contacts and dialogue with neighboring countries and the international community in the future, too, in order to defend peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the world.
