Lots of comments are heard from experts to the effect that such unbecoming behavior of the Japanese politicians stem from its worries that despite its persistent stand-off with the DPRK, it could be marginalized from the trend of the present times in which the atmosphere of dialogue is created between the north and the south of Korea, and China, the U.S. and others actively come out for dialogue with the DPRK. Comments also put it that they are desperately trying to get rid of the "exclusion of Japan" ahead of the DPRK-U.S. summit.

Abe is engrossed in dizzying array of diplomacy with the White House, soliciting for "closer cooperation than before", but it is too late.

Japan's desperate bid would not change the trend of situation on the Korean Peninsula and the region toward lasting peace and stability. Japan is lost to any qualifications and face to meddle in the Korean Peninsula issue.

The only option for Japan to keep itself from being treated as a puppy dog is to be well aware of its plight and behave itself.
