They bitterly denounced Asahi Shimbun for carrying on May 30 the conspiratorial article written by its Seoul Bureau chief notorious as a hack writer to tarnish the image of the DPRK and insult the dignity of its supreme leadership.

It is an act against the international trend of peace being created centering on the Korean Peninsula, they noted.

They urged the newspaper office to make an immediate apology for the recent smear report and correct it and carry impartial articles based on the facts.
