Settlement of Issue of Students Called for in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean online newspaper Jaju Sibo, the Youth Party, Students' Party and the Progressive Federation of Students of south Korea held a press conference at the Kwanghwamun plaza in Seoul on June 5 to call upon candidates for elections to the local self-governing bodies to settle the issue of students. Speakers accused the former "government" of failing to actively settle the issue of students. They issued a commitment reflecting the demand of the students. They stressed that all candidates and political parties should take the lead in solving issues of students and youth. |
