S. Korean Organizations Call for Ensuring Stall Keepers' Right to Existence

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Six organizations of south Korea including the Confederation of Trade Unions held a rally at the Kwanghwamun Plaza, Seoul on June 4 to demand the authorities ensure stall keepers' right to existence, according to the south Korean online paper Chamsesang.

Speakers at the rally charged gangsters with sexual violation of women when they forcibly removed stalls in a beach resort on June 2.

They demanded that the authorities make a total revision of law articles which allow gangsters to forcibly remove stalls and institute a basic law on stalls and a special law on protecting stall keepers.
