Sports Contest for Technical Innovation Pioneer Prize Opened

| Chongjin, June 15 (KCNA) -- A sports contest for technical innovation pioneer prize opened in the DPRK with due ceremony in Chongjin City on Friday. More than 2 500 players selected in provinces will compete in ten-odd events including football, basketball, table-tennis and tennis. The contest is to be held in Phyongsong, Hamhung and other areas. The opening ceremony was followed by the men's football match between North Hamgyong Province and South Hamgyong Province at the Chongjin Stadium. |
